As the Chair for the Marine Technology Society’s New Jersey Student Section, I hosted a research symposium in 2023 and 2024 to bring together a total of over 50 students (undergraduate and graduate) from a wide diversity of institutions, ranging from small community colleges to large research universities (7 total), to foster networking and career development opportunities with marine technology professionals.
